About Trixie
Meet Trixie! This charming 1-year-old spayed female Rat Terrier recently made her way from New Mexico to Colorado and is now embracing her new life. Trixie is around 20 lbs and currently stays with a foster family in Aurora, where she shares her space with three other friendly dogs. Initially shy, she becomes more confident and outgoing in the company of another dog. She quickly warms up to women and is already seeking their affection. While she is a bit hesitant around men, her foster family is helping her overcome this. This clever girl is fully potty trained and learns quickly, already mastering the command "sit". Trixie is also crate trained, happily sleeping through the night and staying calm during the day while her foster mom works from home. She is friendly and submissive with other dogs and doesn’t mind being groomed. She’s even catching on to leash walking quite nicely. Trixie's vaccinations are up to date, and she is microchipped. She will come with two free one-on-one dog training sessions to help her succeed in her new home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
