About Nugget
Nugget is a spunky little senior Chihuahua looking for a special home. This adorable lady was rescued from another shelter, where she faced some health challenges, including mammary tumors and skin issues. After a couple of surgeries, she’s ready for her forever home. She thrives on fresh, plant-based foods and enjoys brands like Bramble or PawCo. Nugget is an easy keeper–quiet and only barks when she needs to go out or when food is involved. While she loves her walks, she needs a harness due to a collapsed trachea but keeps a brisk pace for her age. Nugget gets along with small dog pals, but she's quite independent, often enjoying her own space. She also comes with her favorite sleeping bag. As a senior, she has her quirks; she has only two teeth and requires soft food. Though she can potty during the night, she’ll happily teach you how to help her. A non-smoking home is preferred, and she’d do best with someone who can take her to a holistic vet. If you think you could be Nugget’s perfect match, don’t hesitate to reach out!
