Meet Bun Bun, a delightful, playful young dog bursting with potential. This 1-year-old, approximately 45 lb mixed breed boasts a charming personality that matches his good looks—think soft black velvet face, pink-lined ears, and a lovely brindle coat. Bun Bun adores his humans. Whether he’s dropping a ball at your feet for another game of fetch, gently carrying his favorite bunny stuffie, or snuggling up for a belly rub, he thrives on companionship. As an active pup, he enjoys running and playing fetch, but after a solid 30 to 60 minutes of activity, he settles in well for a good nap. Bun Bun also makes a fantastic walking or jogging companion, as he walks nicely on a leash and enjoys being active. Bun Bun is smart and eager to learn. He has completed a 3-week in-residence training program and continues to develop his skills in foster care. He is housebroken, signaling when he needs to go out, and he is also crate trained for his safety. Being young, he’s still figuring things out; he can be a bit reactive to other dogs at times, but he’s improving with patient introductions. His mild separation anxiety is also getting better with consistency. This charming canine will flourish in a home that provides structure, a nurturing environment, and an active lifestyle. He would thrive either in a home with a fenced yard or in an apartment as long as he gets plenty of daily exercise. Bun Bun is an affectionate and promising young dog.
