Dusty is a spayed female blue merle Sheltie, about 9 and a half years old. Currently weighing 40 lbs, she has recently lost 10 lbs during her stay with a loving foster family and is looking for a new home that can support her continued weight loss journey. Dusty was surrendered by her previous owners due to their inability to care for her. She's now up to date on all her vet care and recently had dental work done, which included the extraction of 18 teeth. This laid-back girl is both house trained and crate trained, although she doesn’t really need a crate. Dusty is sociable and gets along with other dogs, cats, and children.
