Meet Velma. This lovely husky mix is around 2 years old and weighs about 60 lbs. She came to the pound a bit underweight and understandably unsure of her surroundings, which makes you wonder about her past. Once you give her a little time to adjust, her sweet personality shines through. Away from the kennel noise, Velma is playful, affectionate, and adores a good game of fetch. She'll eagerly return the ball and then come over for cuddles and some extra attention. Velma gets along well with other dogs, though a meet is always required. We’re eager to see her start a new chapter with a loving family very soon.
