Chase is a husky/German Shepherd mix, around 7 months old, living in North Canton, OH. He’s packed with energy and loves to play, especially rough-housing with other dogs. Cats haven’t quite figured him out yet—he’s curious about them, but his enthusiasm is a bit much for most. Chase is people-oriented and shows a real affection for older kids, so we’d like to see him go to a home with no small children. He’s currently getting the hang of potty training and is already responding to treat-based training for his basic commands. He’s still working on not jumping or mouthing when he’s excited. With his intelligence and drive, he’s the sort of best friend who will stick by your side—he just needs continued guidance. A fenced yard is required for Chase’s placement to give him the space and boundaries he needs to thrive.
