Meet Maverick! This handsome guy weighs over 100 pounds, full of loyalty, love, and a captivating personality. He’s smart, affectionate, and devoted, thriving when surrounded by his favorite humans. Maverick is housebroken, crate trained, and extremely sharp, always eager to learn and motivated by treats. An athletic dog, he enjoys exploring the yard, going for walks, and curling up by your side. He flourishes in a calm, structured environment where he can have a job to do. Maverick needs an adults-only home with a fenced yard and preferably an experienced large-breed owner. He does well with cats but is best as the only dog due to his high prey drive, which makes living with poultry or small animals unsuitable. While meeting other dogs can work in controlled situations, it requires careful supervision. Maverick is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and has a gastropexy.
