Meet Marcella, a resilient 4-year-old Rottweiler currently weighing around 66 lbs. Her story began tragically when she was found abandoned on the roadside with two other Rottweilers, frightened and in need of urgent care. Shortly after arriving at the shelter, emergency surgery became necessary to save her life. Despite her past, Marcella has shown remarkable strength and continues to inspire those around her. In her foster home, Marcella has started to learn that kindness exists. Each day, she grows more confident and playful, rediscovering what it means to be a dog. As her trust builds, she offers quiet companionship and gentle affection to those who earn her trust. Seeing her tail wag a little more each day is a beautiful reminder of her journey towards healing. Marcella seeks a patient, compassionate family who understands that building trust takes time. While we don’t have her history with children, cats, or other dogs, she’s ready for a new beginning with someone who will offer her the love she deserves.
