About Grable

Grable is a 9-year-old Pit Bull Terrier who spent her early years at a property in Ramona. She had lived with many other dogs in the backyard and had little exposure to humans outside of her original owner. After being welcomed into the Frosted Faces family in April 2025, Grable initially struggled with trust but has made remarkable strides since. Currently living with a supportive foster family, Grable is now more comfortable with her human caregivers. She's begun to approach them and even climbs onto their bed for morning greetings. Her gentle nature shines through as she interacts with other dogs, showing a playful side, especially with her foster dog Ancho. Interestingly, while one of the resident cats often swipes at her, Grable remains unfazed. Though she relishes her meals, preferring not to be watched, she's a hearty eater who enjoys her treats. Grable's foster family has taken precautions, as she can be a flight risk due to her nerves. They provided her with a safe space in their home, helping her adjust gradually. Although walks are not yet part of her routine due to her anxiety, she is crated when alone and has developed a positive association with her crate. Stay tuned for more updates on Grable’s continuing journey, as she becomes more confident in her loving foster home! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
