About Blooper

Meet Blooper, the one-of-a-kind Schnauzer mix who's all about silliness and charm. This 10-12 month old, 14-pound pup is a living comedy show with a fabulous non-shedding coat and unique personality. With his floppy and upright ear, adorable outturned paws, and a tail that wiggles like it’s got a personality of its own, he’s impossible not to love. Blooper starts every day full of energy, ready for adventure. After his morning potty break, he enjoys breakfast from his slow feeder or wobble Kong, making mealtime a fun challenge. He adores his walks around the neighborhood, often accompanied by his foster family's 9-year-old son, Ira, who he happily follows. Blooper has a perfect blend of play, exploration, and relaxation throughout the day, also getting his evening cuddles as he drifts off to sleep either in his own bed or beside Ira. This affectionate little goofball is quick to show his love, often coming over for belly rubs and head scratches. While he likes to know where his people are, he also enjoys some independent time. His playful personality shines through in his toy adventures—he enjoys discovering his toys anew, rubbing against them as if claiming them as his own. Blooper is intelligent and eager to learn, already knowing commands like sit and currently working on down, shake, and more. His enthusiasm for life makes training engaging, especially when treats are involved. He’s known to be dog and kid-friendly, thriving in a busy family environment but may need time to adjust with very young children or nervous kiddos. Though he’s house-trained and crate-trained, he still has some puppy habits he’s perfecting. His excitement can lead to occasional barking or chewing, but with the right guidance, he’ll continue to grow into a well-mannered companion. Blooper would do best with an active family ready to engage in play, training, and daily walks. A home with a yard for him to romp around in would be ideal, but what he really needs is a loving family eager to provide the mental and physical stimulation he craves. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion who brings laughter every day, Blooper is ready to be your new best friend. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
