About Evie
Sweet Evie is ready to find the loving home she deserves! Her story began with heartbreak when she was abandoned at a senior mobile home park with three other small dogs. For weeks, they wandered together, frightened and searching for safety, until a kind-hearted Good Samaritan stepped in. With patience, she earned the trust of two dogs, rescuing them from their plight. Evie, now approximately 1 year old and weighing 12 pounds, has a beautiful silver and black medium-length coat, and she appears to be a mix of Havanese and Poodle, possibly with a touch of Schnauzer. Evie is as sweet as they come; she loves giving hugs and being close to her people. She's wonderful with other dogs, so a confident canine companion might be ideal for her. However, she's just as content to be your one-and-only, soaking up all your love. Evie uses a doggie door but may need some help with house training in her new home. She'll also benefit from leash training to build her confidence. Regular grooming will help keep her looking and feeling her best.
