Meet Dobby, a lively 1-year-old, 13 lb Chihuahua blend with a magical personality. He’s curious and outgoing, always up for an adventure whether he’s supervising the yard, giving enthusiastic greetings, or investigating new sights and sounds. Dobby may be small, but he’s filled with charm and affection, eager to be involved in everything that happens around him. Instead of a sock like the beloved house-elf, Dobby is searching for a forever family to call his own. Dobby has a playful spirit and loves toys—there's no such thing as too many for him! He enjoys outdoor explorations and walks, but after a fun day, he relishes winding down snuggled up next to his favorite human. This little fellow is fully housetrained with regular outings, walks well on a leash, and rides nicely in the car. Dobby sleeps soundly in his safe space at night and can be left there during the day for a few hours. He’s a quick learner eager to polish his manners and is currently improving on commands like "drop it" and "leave it." Dobby is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, all set for his new home. He’ll need monthly heartworm, flea, and tick prevention along with basic grooming. Dobby enjoys companionship, particularly from other dogs, so a playful canine buddy would suit him well. He has not been tested with cats but may adjust well with proper introductions. Although he loves the company of kids, Dobby is still maturing and can be excitable, so older children (ages 8+) would be the best fit for him. He’s looking for a single-family home with a secure fenced yard, where he can safely romp and play. Regular exercise, mental stimulation, and engaging activities will help him thrive and be the wonderful companion he is meant to be.
