About Rita
Lily and Rita are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Rita is a 5-lb Pug-Chihuahua mix, just over a year old, full of affection and eager to stay close to her humansāand especially to her best friend Lily. Rita is a clever little dog who picks up tricks fast, loves a cuddle, and is happiest right by your side. Lily, her constant companion, is a 4-lb Jack Russell blend, also about one year old. Sheās gentle, a bit shy at first, and absolutely adores snugglesāthereās nothing sheād rather do than curl up with her people and Rita. Both girls are small enough to be carried and are always up for being held or burrowing under the covers. House manners come naturally to both of them if kept on a regular potty schedule, and they already know a few tricksāRita sits for treats, for example. Theyāre leash trained, do well in cars, and are up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and healthy. Their grooming is minimal. Both get along with other calm dogs and are likely to be fine with cats. They havenāt been around kids yet, so their foster is not sure about small children in the home. These girls can fit into almost any home environmentācity, suburbs, or ruralāand would thrive in an apartment or a house. Their foster describes them as a true blessing and wonderful companions, looking for a family with room in their hearts for both. They are looking for that forever home willing to give them the love and companionship they seek. Start your journey together! Apply now.
