About Jericho URGENT
Jericho is a 10-week-old Pit Bull Terrier urgently seeking a safe home. He currently battles an upper respiratory infection and needs immediate adoption to avoid euthanasia. Jericho is a friendly little guy, marked by his black and white coat, and he’s just beginning his journey in the world. At present, he’s in the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter, where he has been since June 23, 2026. The shelter environment is cramped, putting dogs like Jericho at significant risk for euthanasia. He is not yet house trained but is up to date on vaccinations. Partnered with the Companion Animal Protection Society, which focuses on rescuing at-risk dogs, we are determined to find Jericho a loving home where he can recover and thrive. If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet pup, please consider giving him a second chance. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
