Zelda is a lively 4-month-old female Heeler who weighs about 20 lbs. This affectionate pup is sweet, loves to snuggle, and thrives on companionship with other playful dogs. It’s essential for her future home to have another dog to help her grow and gain confidence during her puppyhood. She also gets along wonderfully with kids, having lived with children aged 3, 4, and 6. Zelda enjoys playing in the yard, sunbathing, and chewing on her bones. Car rides are a breeze for her; she even managed to sleep through a one-hour trip. She’s housebroken and will tell you when it’s time to go outside. Zelda is crate trained for both daytime naps and overnight, and she has also shared a bed with her foster family. Though she’s learned commands like "sit" and is getting the hang of “paw,” Zelda is still a puppy and is working on her leash manners. Keep an eye on her chew toys, as she might mistake her blanket for a toy if nothing else is available. Zelda has shown curiosity towards cats during brief meetings, suggesting she may adapt well to feline housemates with some patience.
