About Mocha

Mocha is a small, sweet dog looking for a fresh start and a loving forever home. This female Feist is about 1.5 years old and weighs around 16.5 lbs. Mocha gets along well with other dogs, making her a great companion for a multi-pet household. Although we haven't observed her with cats or kids, the team is ready to share tips on integrating her with various family members. Currently residing at the Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus, Mocha needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to join her new family. She thrives in environments that provide a sense of security, particularly with another dog to boost her confidence in more intense settings. Mocha dreams of leisurely sniffy walks, exploring the world, and snuggling up with her humans. She tested positive for heartworms, but sheโ€™s in a program that offers treatment for this condition. With proper care and heartworm prevention, she can lead a full and active life. Mocha desperately wants to know where she belongs, pledging to offer loyal companionship in return for safety and love. Make room for her in your lap and your life! If you're interested in adopting or fostering Mocha, please reach out to Lucky Dog Animal Rescue. They can't wait to help you meet this wonderful dog!
