About Shaggy
Shaggy is one of the Scooby Doo puppies with a rough start—found abandoned on Kelly Mountain in West Virginia alongside his family. Thanks to a Good Samaritan, Shaggy had a safe haven and a fresh start. His mother and brothers have already found homes, and now it’s Shaggy’s turn. For the past few months, he’s been living in a busy foster home with adults, children, two other dogs, and regular visits from a toddler. He’s gentle and affectionate, especially with kids, and thrives when included in family life. Shaggy comes with solid house manners: crate trained, house trained, not destructive, and sleeps through the night. He’s past the baby puppy phase and just enjoys spending time with the people and other dogs in his foster home. He’s playful, happy, and clear about his love for people and other dogs. While he’s still learning leash manners and can bark at new dogs or people on walks, continued training and social exposure should do the trick—he’s made fast progress already. His foster family and a professional trainer agree that a home with another confident, social dog would be a perfect fit, ideally in a quieter suburban setting. Shaggy is ready to bring affection and fun into his new family’s life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
