Bear is a charming lab mix that we rescued from a municipal shelter. At 10 years old, this sweet senior weighs 50 pounds and is looking for a loving home. He came to us with a severe skin issue from neglect, but after weeks of medicated baths and antibiotics, his skin has greatly improved, and his fur is regrowing. While Bear is still on the mend, he will need continued care, especially since he is heartworm positive. He'll require a patient owner who can help him through his medical needs, but he’s truly worth the effort. Our team will take care of all his heartworm treatment and skin care until he has fully healed. Bear is a social boy who loves everyone he meets.
