Benji is a spirited, lovable young dog with all the charm and bounce you’d expect from a Lab mix. Still very much a baby at heart at just over a year old, he’s whip-smart and fast to pick up new tricks, especially if treats or belly rubs are involved. Benji thrives on affection, never missing a chance to snuggle up or chase a squeaky toy. You’ll often find him sniffing around, curious and ready to explore, eager to investigate every new scent and sound in the yard. He’s happiest as the center of attention and needs to be your one and only pet for now—he’s still learning how to handle meeting other dogs and doesn’t do well with cats either. If you can offer a loving family and plenty of engagement, Benji will repay you with endless loyalty and heart. He’s already neutered, house trained, and keeps all his vaccinations current. Benji is currently living in a foster home after being saved from a difficult situation but is ready to settle into a forever home. Transport can be arranged if you’re out of state.
