Diesel
AvailableDiesel is a Black Labrador Retriever, about 4 years and 8 months old, living in East Hampton, NY. As a large, neutered male, his vaccinations are up to date. He is best suited to an experienced adopter who can appreciate his size and energetic, loving nature.
About Diesel
Diesel is convinced he’s still a puppy at heart, bounding with energy and enthusiastically seeking attention. Despite being a large, powerful Black Labrador Retriever, he’s got a playful streak and might even nudge onto your lap, forgetting his size. Affection and connection mean everything to him, and he puts his whole heart behind every cuddle. What Diesel needs most is an experienced adopter who can offer structure, gentle direction, and steady hands—a confident handler comfortable with big, strong dogs. He’s dog-selective, so he’ll thrive as the only dog or with careful introductions, and he cannot be placed in a home with cats. The rescue includes a free course of ARF obedience classes to make sure Diesel and his adopter get off on the right foot together. Fun fact: Diesel’s sun sign is Virgo, which might explain his loyal and eager-to-please personality. Come meet this lovable goof and see if he’s your match. They are waiting with paws crossed!
