About Kingston
Kingston is a sweet, high-energy young male Belgian Shepherd/Malinows who needs an active home to thrive. Originally a stray, he came to the shelter in February and has been struggling with the confinement. Recently, Kingston has developed a limp, likely from his playful antics in the kennel, and has had some other health issues like bloody paws and intermittent diarrhea. When out of the kennel, Kingston enjoys belly rubs and playing with toys. He has previously been described as a rough player and can be mouthy, showing some growling at unfamiliar people. He has done well with dogs his size but tends to get overwhelmed with rowdy play. Kingston is eager to learn basic skills and manners from volunteers, and he will need an active home that understands his needs. Unfortunately, he is currently under evaluation due to aggressive behavior in a previous adoptive home, prompting a search for a highly qualified adopter or rescue who can safely manage him. In his ideal environment, Kingston will shine as a companion for adventures or potential dog sports. If you're interested in helping Kingston, please reach out to the adoption center for more information. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
