Meet Terrance A one and a half year-old German Shepherd/Malinois mix with a handsome face, a playful spirit, and a heart that just wants to belong. While his early life wasn’t what any dog deserves—spending much of his time confined and missing out on the experiences that help puppies grow into confident companions—Terrance hasn’t let that define him. What shines through instead is how deeply affectionate he is and how much he craves connection. He loves being near his person, soaking up attention, and being part of whatever you’re doing. Terrence is currently living with a small dog in his foster home and does quite well with him. He is an energetic, fun-loving young dog who is still learning about the world around him—but with guidance, structure, and patience, he is already showing how eager he is to learn and grow. The great news? Terrance is currently in professional training, where he’s building confidence, learning important skills, and getting the foundation he needs to truly thrive in a home. He will come with free lifetime enrichment classes at Canis in Tarzana and two in-home sessions to help ensure a smooth transition and set both him and his future family up for success.
