About Martin
Martin is in search of his forever home. He’s a mellow, lower-energy dog, perfectly content to lounge at home or join you for an adventure. Two brisk 30-minute walks a day and some good people time keep him happy. Martin just finished a six-week board and train with a professional trainer who liked him so much, she fostered him after—he’s left a lasting impression everywhere he goes. He’s built a strong training foundation: crate trained, reliably house trained, walks well on leash, relaxed on car rides, and friendly with both dogs and cats. While Martin can act shy when meeting new faces, patience wins him over, and once you’re in, he’s deeply loving and loyal. His confidence has grown but he’ll do best with someone dog-savvy who can keep nurturing that growth and show him more of the good life. There’s a quiet intelligence about Martin—smart, gentle, affectionate, and undeniably handsome. If you’re looking for a genuinely special companion, Martin could be the one for you. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!

Questions about Martin
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Martin's mix of Weimaraner and Belgian Shepherd / Malinois generally does well in a home with enough room to stretch out, preferably with access to walks and time with people. His calm demeanor suits an environment where he can both relax and get some regular exercise.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Martin appreciates daily walks and some outdoor play but doesn't require a huge backyard, thanks to his lower energy level. Regular outings and mental stimulation are more important for his well-being than a large yard.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Yes, Martin gets along with children and his gentle, calm nature makes him a good fit for families. Supervised, respectful interaction helps build trust and comfort.
