Meet Rocky, a sweet 2-year-old Terrier mix who weighs in at 17.3 lbs. He came to our shelter with nine other dogs, all learning that the world doesn’t need to be intimidating. Rocky is still adjusting; patience will be key in helping him thrive. He’s unsocialized but has shown encouraging progress with gentle guidance. Rocky is getting familiar with the leash, so he needs someone committed to working with him at his own pace. Once he feels secure, he begins to relax and settle in. His ideal home would be one with adults or respectful teenagers who understand the need for slow movements and trust-building. With the right companionship, particularly from another dog, he can learn and grow more confident. Rocky isn't seeking perfection—he just wants patience. This sweet boy has a lot of potential to blossom with someone who believes in him. Ready to make a difference in Rocky’s life?
