Meet Luke! Luke is a 2-year-old terrier mix, weighing around 33 pounds, with a sweet personality and plenty of youthful energy. He can be a bit sensitive and may need some time to adjust to new people, but once he feels comfortable, Luke shows his affectionate and playful side. He does best with patient adopters who will allow him to settle in at his own pace and build trust. Because of his sensitivity, if there are children in Luke’s forever home, they must be ages 13 or older and able to respect his boundaries. Luke has shown potential with other dogs, though he can be hesitant, so slow and thoughtful introductions will be vital for his success. At this time, we are unsure how Luke does with cats. With structure, consistency, and understanding, Luke has all the potential to become a wonderful companion.
