He warms up quickly, approaching for treats with a friendly demeanor, and once he trusts you, he leans in for gentle affection. His playful nature shines through when he’s around other dogs his size or smaller, happily following them, learning their routines, and exploring new places. Sweet and observant, Corkie thrives on companionship, especially from a friendly dog. He’s the water enthusiast of the duo, loving to splash around in a kiddie pool, which is why he was shaved for comfort. Corkie isn't ready for leash walks yet; a secure, fully fenced yard is required since he can be startled easily. Precautions are crucial—doors and gates must be securely handled as he is a flight risk. Instead of being crated, Corkie should have a safe room gated for when left unattended.
