About Pip

Pip is a 9-month-old, 15-pound sweetheart who has truly come into his own since being rescued from a breeder/hoarding situation. With a naturally calm and gentle temperament, he isn’t the typical high-energy puppy; instead, he thrives in environments with kindness and routine. Pip spent his entire life with his littermate, Pauley, until Pauley was adopted, so he has a bit of a shy side until he gets comfortable. In his foster home, Pip has found joy in simple pleasures, from running around the yard to curling up indoors for some quality family time. He’s still perfecting his housetraining and uses a pet door to remind him that potty breaks happen outdoors. Continued patience and consistency will help him settle further into a new home. While Pip enjoys the company of others, he cannot be left alone for long periods, so he needs dedicated adopters who can provide companionship, structure, and reassurance. Gentle, patient interactions will help him build his confidence. Pip is looking for a family with a fenced yard and the time to help him adjust. Adoption Requirements: - A fenced-in backyard suited for small/medium dogs - Someone home more often - No crating; an approved puppy playpen or baby-gated area is needed when away - Children age 7+ are welcomed, with younger children considered on a case-by-case basis.
