About Frodo
Meet Frodo, a brave and loving 2-year-old Chihuahua weighing in at just 8 lbs. True to his namesake from The Lord of the Rings, he's on a quest, but this time, it’s to find a forever family. With his friendly demeanor, Frodo loves greeting guests and making them feel at home. He enjoys snuggling, doesn't suffer from separation anxiety, and is quiet when left alone. You'll often catch him dancing on his hind legs when he's excited! Frodo is well-mannered; he seems to be housetrained and knows how to sit. While storms and fireworks don’t bother him, he does get a bit vocal during walks when he sees other dogs, so some additional training would help him remain calm. This healthy boy just needs standard monthly flea and heartworm preventatives. His grooming needs are minimal due to his short coat. Currently, Frodo is living as the only pet in his foster home, but with proper introductions, he may get along just fine with other dogs and possibly cats too. Frodo hasn't been around children yet, but given his loving nature, he'd likely adapt well. He would thrive in any living situation, be it a small apartment or a larger home, as long as he has a caring family to call his own. Frodo is simply a joy. If you're ready to embark on an adventure with this sweet soul, consider making Frodo a part of your family. Click apply to start the adoption process.
