About Jack
Meet Jack, a charming little yorkie mix who's been through a lot lately. Recently returned to rescue after losing his adoptive mom, heβs looking for a soft place to land once again. At around 5 years and 10 months old, Jack weighs approximately 13.4 pounds and has a medium-length coat that adds to his adorable appearance. Jack's past has made him a bit shy and defensive at first, but with patience, he becomes quite affectionate and seeks out attention from those he trusts. He gets along well with other dogs and likely with cats too, given his small size. While he would do best in a calm environment, ideally an adult-only home, he could adapt to older children who respect his space. Although not house trained right now, he walks on a leash and is crate trained. Jack will need a dental treatment in the future, primarily due to his previous neglect. His appetite is improving with canned food, but he's working toward transitioning back to dry food for his dental health. Jack is a sweet, friendly boy eager to find his forever home and be someone's trusted companion once more.
