About Juniper
Juniper is a delightful beagle currently in Oak Forest, IL. Found as a stray in Louisiana, she’s blossomed into the sweetest companion. While she may be timid upon first meeting, her affectionate nature shines through once she gets comfortable. This charming medium-sized girl is 27 pounds and has a beautiful tricolor coat. Juniper has a playful spirit and enjoys following her humans around, always keen to help—even with tasks that don't really need assistance. Known for her silly beagle antics, she might get into a bit of mischief if left alone, so a watchful eye is essential. Juniper gets along wonderfully with other dogs and thrives with a canine companion. Although she’s fostered with a cat, it's wise to keep any cat food out of her reach as she has a penchant for sampling. She’s good with older kids but might accidentally knock over little ones in her excitement. While she has made significant progress in house-training, she still experiences accidents in her crate, likely needing a consistent routine and a bit of patience to work it out fully. Although she has a low-grade heart murmur, it’s manageable with the right diet—no grain-free or boutique foods for her. Juniper will bring joy and companionship to the right home.
