About Chico
Meet Chico, a 7-year-old Chihuahua who weighs just 6.2 lbs. This little guy recently lost his human mommy and is ready to open his heart to a new family. Chico is a snuggle bug who loves to burrow in blankets, follow you around, and keep an eye on everything from the comfort of your lap. He has a friendly demeanor and gets along well with dogs of all sizes and cats. While heโs learning to be less enchanted by caged birds, his curiosity about squirrels outdoors can lead to some spirited antics. Initially shy, Chico needs a patient home where he can feel safe. Itโs essential to let him adapt at his own pace, so he learns to trust you. A fenced yard is preferred; ensure itโs secure, as he can squeeze through narrow openings. Although he's house-trained and crate-trained, a quiet environment without toddlers suits him best, plus a cozy bed is a must. Chico loves to sleep near you and can easily navigate out of the way to avoid being stepped on. Given his small size, he can get injured with larger, rambunctious dogs around. If you think you can provide the warmth and love that this sweet boy deserves, please complete an application to meet him.
