Bootsie is a 9-year-old Chihuahua mix who runs her world with style and a dash of sass. A small package (under 20 pounds) with an outsized personality, she’s house trained, knows her way around a leash, and is remarkably clear about her boundaries: no picking up, hands off the back and sides, and don’t show up empty-handed. Snacks are the key to her approval. She tolerates respectful dogs just fine, but likes her space and peace—confrontational types need not apply. Bootsie carries her benign shoulder lump like a badge of honor and prefers a calm, adult-only home with a fenced yard so she can patrol her domain without kid chaos. Give her patience and respect, and she’ll reward you with loyal companionship, occasional couch cuddles, and the profound privilege of being accepted by a discerning dog. Bootsie is in Akron, OH, and her sun sign is Pisces—no surprises there. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
