About Tasha
Meet Tasha, a charming Labrador Retriever who’s almost 8 years old, born on July 23, 2018. Affectionately dubbed "Fat Tasha", she embodies the spirit of comfort with plenty of cuddles and leisurely naps. Tasha thrives on the couch, keeping you company after a short stroll and reveling in her journey of fitness with some playful, albeit horizontal, moments. Tasha has lots of love to give, eager to be near you and masterfully employing those soulful lab eyes to score an extra treat. She’s already been diligently working on her house and crate training, knows basic commands like sitting, and enjoys sniffing adventures on walks, although she might pull sometimes. She’s selective with other dogs and shows some food guarding tendencies, making an experienced owner ideal for her continued training. Though she hasn’t met cats or young kids, Tasha can be hesitant with new faces, so a patient home would help her adapt comfortably. Ideally, she seeks a forever family with a yard, a cozy couch, and someone ready to support her in feeling secure and loved on her path to a healthier life. Right now, Tasha is being fostered in Richmond, VA, and she’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for her new home. Her adoption fee is $375, which assists in covering her care while she’s waiting for you. Let’s help Tasha find that perfect, loving home!
