About Maple
Meet Maple, a 4.5-year-old German Shepherd who is ready to find her forever home! Currently in a loving foster home in Richmond, VA, Maple is calm, sweet, and incredibly gentle. She enjoys relaxing in her bed, keeping a low profile while following her humans around the house. Pets and belly rubs make her happiest, and she's quick to learn commands like sit, stay, down, and come. While she loves to play and can have energetic bursts at the dog park, she mostly enjoys lounging around the house and going for walks. Maple is great on a leash, doesn’t pull, and loves to stay close, usually lingering within 10 to 15 feet. She’s crate trained but doesn’t require it, as she’ll leave your furniture and belongings alone. Maple would do best in a home without other dogs, cats, or children under the age of 10, as she has a herding instinct. Up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed, Maple has been well cared for and is heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $375, which covers her vaccinations and care. Owning her means committing to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion, Maple is eager to connect with you.
