About Caleb

Meet Caleb, a handsome black Lab weighing in at 65 pounds. At about a year old, he embodies the perfect mix of charm and loyalty as a true Velcro dog. While he is crate trained, he prefers to be by your side, especially at bedtime. Caleb behaves wonderfully when left alone and is both leash trained and house trained, making him an ideal companion for any household. Affectionate and sweet, Caleb adores people, kids, and other dogs, though he hasn’t been around cats. When guests arrive, he greets them with excitement, yet he is gentle and doesn’t rush to the door. Caleb will melt your heart with his soft whimpers when he needs to go outside or just wants to lounge in the sun. He enjoys treats, particularly blueberries and even watermelon! Having overcome a past injury that led to part of his tail being amputated, Caleb shows gratitude with every wag and follows his foster everywhere, always asking for belly rubs and cuddles.
