On a daily basis Save a Lab is contacted by people trying to help the poor, discarded, and neglected dogs around them. Cupcake was lucky to be found by a kind soul who invested her time and money to help her on her way to a better life. Cupcake was found running on a busy road, clearly actively nursing a litter of puppies. After much investigation, her owners were found and after offering them cash, they surrendered her and her puppies. Good homes were found her the puppies and now its time for Cupcake to make her way north and join a loving family! Cupcake, also known as Lady by her foster because she is a perfect lady in every way, is a beautiful young girl. Cupcake is just barely out of puppyhood herself at around a year old. Still on the thin side, Cupcake weighs around 52 pounds. Cupcake is crate and house trained. She has some initial unease when a leash is brought out because she was tethered at her previous home but once she walking, she is fine on a leash. Because of her prior abuse, she does need some understanding! Cupcake LOVES other dogs, cats, and children. She has a true heart of gold. She has been around children of all ages and is calm, gentle, and loving with them. While Cupcake is very playful, she has a quick off switch and calms down nicely. She enjoys toys and will chew on them, but she is not in any way destructive with other items. After an initial rough start to life, this perfect little lady is ready to become a permanent member family. She hopes to find a family with lots of people, young and old, to shower her with the love and attention she deserves!
