Rescued alongside her mom and four siblings shortly after birth, she was found huddled under a tree in the scorching Egyptian summer, facing severe threats from locals. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in just in time, bringing all six dogs to safety. Since then, Sugar has grown up in the shelter, waiting patiently for her chance at a brighter future, and now she has the opportunity to come to the U.S. and finally find the loving home she's always deserved. At 1.5 years old, Sugar is a medium-sized Baladi mix pup weighing around 48 pounds. She boasts a wonderful medium energy level—enjoying playtime as well as moments of relaxation and affection. Sugar gets along well with other dogs, and she’s great with people and children—making her a delightful addition to many types of families. With her warm, loving personality, Sugar doesn't need to be the only dog; she would likely enjoy a canine companion but is also content as your loyal best friend.
