About Gonzo

Gonzo is a three-year-old, 18-pound Minnie Aussie with a long, spirited coat that complements his charming personality. He came to us as a stray, and while adjusting to his new life since mid-June, he has started to relax and show his playful side. Gonzo enjoys being around respectful kids aged ten and up and gets along well with other dogs at the rescue. He adores belly rubs, which might just be his favorite pastime. Though he appears to be house trained, he's still learning his leash and car manners, so patience and training will go a long way with him. It's worth noting that Gonzo prefers to eat alone, a common behavior for dogs with a rough past, so it’s something to consider. While he would thrive in a family setting or with a retired person, he's not recommended for homes with cats. The adoption fee is $175. We do all meet and greets at your home to ensure a smooth transition for everyone involved. This means we maintain a 60-mile radius for potential adopters from St. Anthony, ID. Exceptions can be discussed. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
