About Kermit

Kermit is a charming 1.5-year-old Rat Terrier weighing around 15 lbs. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, ensuring he is ready to join your family. Kermit was rescued after being found as a stray by a kind-hearted individual. Since arriving at the shelter in mid-June, he has gained weight and become more confident. While he can be shy, this little guy is eager to learn and develop. He's friendly with the other dogs in the rescue and enjoys human company—he’d likely do well with respectful kids aged five and older. Kermit’s playful nature shines through when he gets attention. We’re currently working on his leash manners, car etiquette, and house training. We don’t have information about how he interacts with cats. Kermit would make a wonderful family dog or a delightful companion for a retired couple or individual. If you’re ready to welcome Kermit into your home, please apply today!
