Calvin is an affectionate Labrador mix, around 2-3 years old and weighing 70 pounds. He came to the shelter as a stray alongside his companion, Klein, and has quickly proven to be a smart, eager-to-learn dog. Calvin is learning commands like sit, stay, and leave-it, and is already quite trainable. He enjoys walks and is getting familiar with walking on a leash. With a gentle disposition, Calvin would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can run around. He gets along well with other dogs, although he has mostly played with Klein since their arrival. Calvin may not be the best fit for someone with mobility challenges, as he doesn’t quite realize his size. The shelter team describes him as handsome, goofy, snuggly, and full of charm.
