Poppy is a charming Pomeranian who found herself in rescue after being surrendered by breeders. At around 12 years old, she brings joy despite her past. With all her teeth extracted, she has a permanent tongue-out look that adds to her endearing character. Poppy adores being held and will snuggle close, resting her head on your neck, enjoying the warmth of companionship. Though she can be a bit independent at times, she remains sweet and loving. Poppy isn’t fond of crates, but she’s learning to settle in one. She really just wants to be near her people. With a bit of work, she’s being house-trained and is getting the hang of leash walks. Reports of her health are positive; her heart is strong, and she still has plenty of energy. The ideal home for Poppy would be one where someone is around most of the time. She gets along well with other dogs and older, respectful children. Poppy is spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. She’s ready to find her forever home with people who will cherish her.
