About Bear
Bear is a TerrierPoo who came in a bit shy and still needs time to fully trust new people. It takes some patience and understanding, but when Bear decides you’re his person, he leans in fully—wanting to be right next to you, looking for that closeness and giving small, gentle signs of affection. He’d do best with someone committed to meeting him where he’s at, emotionally, and working to build his confidence at his own pace. Bear gets along well with other dogs. He’s currently house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. Dogs like Bear are a work in progress, but once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll have a devoted friend. As a fun note, Bear is a Pisces—dogs born under this sign are often extra sensitive and loving. Bear is in Gretna, FL, and ready to start the next chapter with someone special. Questions about Bear
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Bear, being a Terrier mix, is best suited for a home environment where he can spend time with people and have a secure, fenced yard to explore. He benefits from a stable setting and patient caregivers.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Terrier mixes like Bear usually enjoy some outdoor space—such as a yard—where they can play and sniff around, though they don’t require acres of land. Regular walks and safe play areas are ideal.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Terrier mixes can be good with children, especially when socialized early. Given Bear’s shyness, introductions should be gentle and children should understand how to give him space as he gets comfortable.
