About Scarlet
Meet Scarlet, a charming 2.5-year-old Lab and Dachshund mix who is ready to find her forever home in Richmond, VA. Having come from a tough start at a local shelter, Scarlet has blossomed in her foster home. She's 100% house trained and reliably crate trained, making her a perfect companion. She's fantastic with cats and has adjusted well to dogs after careful introductions. Scarlet is a bit of a diva, as she barks to alert you when she wants attention. She's not a noisy pup generally, but she does appreciate being in close proximity to her humans. With her short black coat, she'll curl up beside you after she's gotten to know you. Although new experiences can make her nervous, she walks well on the leash and enjoys her outdoor adventures like "zoomies" in the fresh air. This sweet girl is looking for a quiet and patient home, ideally with another playful dog to keep her company. She thrives on positive, gentle reinforcement and will benefit from continued training and socialization. Scarlet is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $375, which covers her spay, vaccinations, and microchip. Ready to meet Scarlet? Apply today!
