About Cedar
Cedar is a remarkable young dog with a journey that speaks volumes about his resilience and strength. After being surrendered in early 2025 along with his five littermates, Cedar faced a rough start as they all battled illness. Fortunately, he recovered and found a home, only to return to the shelter later. Understandably cautious, Cedar desperately needs a loving, stable home to help him regain his confidence. During his time in foster care, Cedar displayed quiet good behavior, was well-mannered when left alone, and enjoyed toys, particularly stuffed animals and chew items. Described as reserved and a bit nervous, he took time to warm up around children but has shown he gets along well with other dogs, sharing his kennel peacefully with one at PACC. His volunteer friends have noted that while Cedar is initially timid, he leashes easily and walks gracefully. With encouragement, he’s willing to accept affection and pets. If you're ready to help this shy boy believe in the safety of the world, consider adopting Cedar today!
