Bella
AvailableBella is a large, adult female Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer mix living in Tucson, AZ. She has been spayed and had positive experiences with children and other dogs. Bella does not have any special needs and has a friendly temperament. She’s known to be house trained and makes an excellent companion for families looking for a relaxed, gentle dog.
About Bella
Bella turns the "lap dog" myth on its head—she’s the kind of dog who believes every lap needs her, even if she brings over 80 pounds of affection with her. Yes, she could lose a little weight, but you’ll never be short on warmth and adoration from her. Bella knows her way around families and has had positive experiences with kids. She’s housebroken, playful with tennis balls and rope toys, and content whether napping on the couch or heading out for a walk. Several fosters and volunteers have called her sweet, cuddly, and friendly, describing her as equal parts marshmallow and wiggle-butt. She tolerates baths (with a hand up), loves belly rubs and has irresistibly soft ears. When excited, she’ll back up into you with a signature brisk tail-and-butt wiggle, just hoping for more attention. Bella handles meeting new dogs well and prefers calm canine companions. She should meet resident dogs beforehand to make sure everyone gets along. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will gladly join you for lazy weekends or slow strolls, Bella is ready to fill the spot. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
