About Deejay
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Deejay is a tall, slender boxer with a heart of gold and a zest for life. He’s incredibly sweet, cuddly, and craves affection—when you give him attention, he calms right down and adores having his head cradled in your hand. Deejay is playful and inquisitive, showing a gentle, patient manner even during playtime. He loves chewing on nylabones and softer toys, so you’ll want to keep an eye out for what he finds interesting, from toilet paper rolls to the occasional curiosity with small creatures. Deejay is learning to walk on a leash and is picking up on basic commands like sit, down, and come with impressive speed—he’s a very smart boy who thrives with consistency and gentle boundaries. He’s especially bonded with his girlfriend, Nala, and ideally, they’ll find a home together. Deejay is not comfortable being separated from her; his devotion is so strong that he’s been known to clear a five-foot fence just to be by her side! Because of this, he’ll need a yard with a high fence and a doggie door for indoor-outdoor access, and regular walks will help him burn off energy. Deejay responds well to redirection and will continue to blossom in a home where he receives regular attention, structure, and patience. His curious, loving nature and loyalty make him an absolute joy and an ideal addition for anyone seeking an affectionate, joyful, and intuitive companion. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
