About Smokey
Meet Smokey, a charming 2-year-old male Cane Corso and Weimaraner mix currently living in a foster home in Houston, TX. Smokey came to us as a stray and has blossomed into a playful yet gentle companion. He weighs around 60 pounds and is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, making him ready to find his forever home. Smokey enjoys the company of other dogs and currently shares his space with two pups. He has a low to moderate energy level, often delighting in playtime but equally relishes quiet moments, cuddled up on the couch, often enjoying a binge of Gilmore Girls. This affectionate boy prefers a home without cats. While he can be a bit shy and bark at strangers out of excitement, Smokey responds well to redirection. He walks well on a leash after initial excitement and is fully house trained, always doing his business outside. Smokey does experience some separation anxiety and would thrive in a home environment rather than an apartment. Ideally, he would love a guardian who works from home or has a flexible schedule. This sweetheart deserves a loving family that can appreciate his kind-hearted nature and all the affection he has to offer. If you're searching for a loyal companion who enjoys snuggling and chilling at home, Smokey is the perfect match. Ready to make him part of your family? Let’s get started!
