About Smokey
Meet Smokey! This charming 2-year-old male Cane Corso and Weimaraner mix found his way to us as a stray and is now ready for a loving home. Weighing in at 60 pounds, Smokey is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered—he’s all set for his forever family. Smokey lives with two other dogs in his foster home and gets along well with them. He enjoys playtime but also loves to cuddle up on the couch while watching shows like Gilmore Girls with his foster mom. Smokey has a low to moderate energy level; he’ll happily play chase or lounge around, making him the perfect couch companion. Although he enjoys the company of dogs, Smokey would prefer a home without cats. Leash walks are a breeze for Smokey. He may be a little nervous around strangers and could bark excitedly, but he calms down quickly and walks gently beside you. Smokey is also fully house trained, ensuring he does his business outside. He does have some separation anxiety and may cry when left alone, so he would thrive in a household where someone is home most of the day. It's best to avoid crating him if possible, as he prefers to roam freely when you’re away. With a gentle heart and an affectionate disposition, Smokey is a loyal companion who will fit right into a loving and patient home. If you're looking for a dog that enjoys quiet time and good snuggles, Smokey is your guy. Apply now to give Smokey the loving home he deserves!
