Chippy
AvailableChippy is a young male Chihuahua mix with a short coat. He has been neutered and his vaccinations are up to date. Although he is not yet house trained, he is curious and very affectionate. Chippy currently resides in Mesa, AZ and is looking for an active home where he can explore and play.
About Chippy
Chippy found his way to rescue after being freed from a hoarding situation. He’s around 4 years old now but exhibits plenty of youthful energy, suggesting that he missed out on the joyful experiences of puppyhood. Chippy thrives on activity and needs a secure backyard where he can run and play, preferably with another young dog. His adventurous spirit means he’s often into mischief, so keep an eye on him—he loves to explore and will happily snatch up anything that piques his curiosity. Chippy is a little shy around new people; patience will help him warm up. While he’s grown comfortable around one cat, he’s better suited to a home without young children, as he can be skittish. Chippy is also working on his potty training and will need consistent supervision, especially since he tends to mark inside. His short coat sheds moderately, though this could be due to his puppy phase. Chippy loves to be part of the family, sleeping next to his person at night or cuddling during the day. He has a wonderful personality just waiting to shine in a loving home. Ready to welcome this charming little guy? Click apply to start the adoption process.
