About Nieve
Nieve is a six-year-old Chihuahua who has spent most of his life in a cramped backyard, only allowed inside during the relentless Arizona heat. After years spent staring at the world from behind a fence, he became skilled in the art of escape, which led to him being surrendered. Vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, Nieve arrived nervous and unsure, especially about spending time indoors. He was an only pet until recently, but having a small group of dogs around has helped him discover all the perks of family life—especially the abundance of dog beds and comfort that comes with indoor living. Though Nieve is just 11.2 lbs, he comes with the energy and joyful spirit of a youngster—quick, clever, and funny, but also completely at ease curling up for a nap and sleeping soundly through the night. There’s no aggression in him, just sweetness and gratitude for every new experience. Nieve thrives with patient people, access to a secure yard, and absolutely needs another dog friend; he really comes alive with canine company. If you can offer him these, he’s ready to meet his new family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
