Nieve is a six-year-old Chihuahua who has spent most of his life in a cramped backyard, only allowed inside during the relentless Arizona heat. After years spent staring at the world from behind a fence, he became skilled in the art of escape, which led to him being surrendered. Vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, Nieve arrived nervous and unsure, especially about spending time indoors.
